Westbury School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and committed team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils by supporting their learning, wellbeing, and personaldevelopment.
The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to provide high-quality classroom support, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can achieve their full potential. Responsibilities will include supportingindividuals and small groups, assisting with classroom activities, and encouraging pupils to engage confidently in their learning.
We are looking for someone who is patient, caring, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children. Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be provided.

We are looking for responsible, caring, hard working individuals to join our already excellent team. Ideally with experience in residential care and an awareness of child protection & safeguarding, however not essential as full training will be given. We provide a competitive salary and good training and performance bonuses.
You will be expected to provide high quality care for up to 4 young people. This will include supporting our young people physically and emotionally. The main function of this role is the responsibility to provide a safe, nurturing environment, ensuring the best possible care to our young people.
Salary is dependant on qualifications and experience, the competitive salary also includes additional pay for sleep ins - £62.74 per sleep and performance bonuses. No qualifications or previous experience required, you just need to be committed and have a passion for our young people enabling us to help enhance their quality of life and future. We operate in the area of Shropshire, caring for children/young people with learning disabilities.
We are committed to transforming young people's lives and experiences, to support young people to develop their personal, social, and emotional well-being and to guide them in all aspects of their lives. We endeavour to achieve the best outcomes for each young person in an individualised and unique way.
The purpose of the Team Leader role is briefly as follows:
Provide high quality therapeutic support to young people as part of Unique Care Group's service, acting as a leader, role model and co-ordinator of shifts.
Contribute actively to the creation and maintenance of a therapeutic, homely environment, taking into account the child/young person's wishes and preferences.
Understand, contribute to and deliver the young person's Care Plan on a daily basis and ensure that all the basic physical needs of the children/young people are met, providing guidance to colleagues in this regard.
Make and support others to make decisions that are in the best interests of the children/young people and the organisation at all times, providing direction and challenging poor practice.
Be alert to signs of distress, neglect or abuse, ensuring that the children/young people are supported, monitored and protected.

Competitive hourly rates of pay between £13.40 And £13.70 per hour and sleep in rates at £62.00 plus 2 hours pay
